“We came from Dallas to escape the summer heat, and we loved our Montana exploration.  The weather was fabulous, particularly the cool nights.  We enjoyed Yellowstone, the rivers and the Museum of the Rockies (three times!).  More than anything, we appreciated and savored the amazing views from Our Farm House windows—rapidly changing skies that were always gorgeous.  The highlight for the kids was the farm itself—picking peas, feeding the horses and geese, and most importantly for our son, being “in charge” of the chickens.  Fantastic hosts, great memories, wonderful and charming farmhouse—we hope to come back.”   

"It has been an honor staying in the home previously occupied by your family.  Our visit to attend a niece’s wedding in Bozeman turned out to be much more relaxing and fun—in large measure due to the warm, comfortable “home base” from which we operated.  You made us feel as if we were staying in the home of longtime friends.  Thank you!  Thank you for all of the very special home-like touches—from the groceries to the band-aids!  We hope to return for a longer visit next time."

"We are Americans living in Burgundy , France.  Due to the constant hosting and work to be done, we rarely have peace and quiet.  Our Farm House offered us that and so much more.  It is charmingly decorated and left with such beautiful memories.  I have noted that your chickens are very friendly, much more than “zee French ones”.  The fresh veggies and wonderful air has soothed us away from worries and cares.  Home away from home, but EVEN better. We enjoyed the fly-fishing.  Pete has always dreamed about fishing here and now I own my first pair of waders!  I caught my first fish, too!  Many thanks to you all for sharing your beautiful farmhouse.  I’ll miss the CALM and sweeping panoramic views.”

“Thank you for sharing your family home; what a treat!  The garden, chickens, horses and games kept my grandson very entertained!  I love the feel of the whole place—the wood, the pictures, the parlor, and especially the buttons!  We drove to West Yellowstone to see the grizzly bears and wolves, stopping for a dip in the warm Madison River on the way back.  Nice day trip.”

“We came to spend a week celebrating our 25^th wedding anniversary in the blissful peace and quiet of Our Farm House.  Our brilliant hostesses, Alice and Mardeen, made sure we were well-fed, well-housed as they shared their family home with us.  For dinner we recommend The Mint in Belgrade , Stacey’s in Gallatin Gateway and the Robin in Bozeman .  But most of all, relax, unwind and enjoy being on “Montana Time." 

“We thought our visit this year to Montana would be spent staying in a motel!! Finding this house—or should I say “home”, was amazing!! We both felt so comfortable here—to be able to walk around outside and see farmland—not a parking lot—was just wonderful.!  The house is so comfortable and homey feeling!  You are gracious and make people feel right at home!  We hope to return next year!
